Pécs (Sopiane in the ancient times, and in the second century) is a must-see, having a more than thousand year old bishopric, its first university founded in 1367, Turkish architectural remains, Hungarian traditions and values, and World Heritage monuments. Our town offers a buzzing cultural life, many outdoor events and several festivals to its visitors.

The Mecsek Mountain has tourist routes maintained all year long, suitable for beautiful walks in the forest. The TV-tower is 5 minutes by car and 30 minutes by foot. The tower offers a restaurant and cafeteria besides the amazing 360 degree scenery.
Skiing on the Misina Mountain (close to the TV-tower) is possible for 30 days each year. The elevators are not modern, the slope is recommended for advanced skiers. Please enquire about the current snow level from us.
The Zoo will be open again in spring 2016 after a total reconstruction. Hungary’s newest and one of the most spectacular ZOO’s will have a 100 thousand liter aquarium with sharks, seals, rays and hippos. Also pumas, vultures and chimpanzees will be able to see only a 5 minute walk away from the apartment.
